About me

Jess Yupanqui Feingold is a multi-hyphenate social impact leader across the fields of economic justice, sustainable design, and fine and performing arts.

Her primary role is as Co-CEO at Common Future, an intermediary which invests in Black and indigenous communities so that the racial economic inequality becomes a thing of the past. Her expertise lies in brand strategy and positioning, grant and capital raising, storytelling and influence—all in service to building a more equitable economy. With more than 15 years social impact experience, she has held leadership roles at Kiva, Ashoka, Move This World, and Life-improving Ventures; she has advised dozens of other leading impact organizations.

With A Space Unfolds, she and her wife are building a design practice that centers healthy materials, sustainable sourcing, and non-extractive labor practices in building house and home. This is in addition to materials exploration in her working practice as a ceramicist.

In addition, Jess is prolific writer and speaker—a former columnist at Forbes and member of the FRESH Speakers bureau who has spoken at convenings of the Skoll World Forum, the Aspen Institute, Nonprofit Quarterly, and Stanford Social Innovation Review. She writes on Substack at jessfeingold.substack.com.

She is a Board Director at Justice Climate Fund, Community Credit Lab, and Stefanie Nelson Dancegroup, which hosts the Dance Italia summer residency in Lucca, Italy and runs the performance space Motore592.
